On Saturday, June 24th Downtown St. Catharines hosted the second annual Holi Festival of Colour welcoming hundreds of visitors into the core!
Hindu in origin, Holi Festival of Colour is celebrated throughout South Asia and around the globe and celebrates singing, food, dancing, peace, fun, laughter, forgiveness and of course…colour!
This event was made possible with many thanks to our sponsors Downtown Dental Centre, Davids & DeLaat and Team Scotia volunteer matching program, and to our Community Partners, Niagara Artists Centre, CAA Niagara, Niagara Hindu Samaj, Niagara Folk Arts, Niagara Folk Arts Festival, Silver Spire United Church, Khas Patti, Bansaree Authentic Indian Restaraunt, the City of St. Catharines, City of St. Catharines Fire Services, and the Holi Festival of Colour Committee!!!!
