Car Parking
There are more than 2,000 downtown parking spots offered by the City of St. Catharines. This includes two parking garages (Ontario Street and Garden Park/Carlisle Street), more than ten surface parking lots, and on-street parking meters throughout the core. All City-owned and operated parking lots and garages are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking Services Review
On June 23, 2025, St. Catharines City Council endorsed 17 recommendations aimed at improving the parking services in St. Catharines. One of the key directions identified by the review is integration of parking systems and technologies. Council directed that a Request for Proposal be issued for e-ticketing solutions.
