June 10, 2021: Scheduled Power Shutdown

Please note there is a scheduled shutdown at the 136 St. Paul Street Power Vault and switchover for the main power service to the street lighting poles taking place on Thursday, June 17th, 2021. Alectra Utilities will begin the shutdown at 8:30 a.m. and the switchover should be completed by approximately 2:00 p.m.

We have been assured that businesses will operate without interruption, there will be no power outages to the commercial or residential power sources.  The street lighting circuits will be affected by the shutdown.  This will impact items that are plugged into the City’s street light receptacles (e.g. patios with lights, or music speakers).
