The Palmer Squares

The Palmer Squares are an underground hip-hop duo from Chicago known for their rapid-fire lyricism, off-the-wall rhyme patterns and clever wordplay, energetic live performances, and long rap performances on YouTube shot in one take.  Comprised of Acumental and Term K, the group has built a loyal following through their independent approach, sharp humor, and technically skilled delivery that blends classic backpack rap influences with modern underground hip-hop energy. Before ever recording their own music together, The Palmer Squares were listening to artists such as Talib Kweli, Big L, Hieroglyphics, Typical Cats, and The Roots. Since emerging in the early 2010s, The Palmer Squares have toured extensively across the United States, earning a reputation for explosive shows and a strong connection with fans. Their music combines intricate rhyme patterns, storytelling, and off-the-wall creativity, making them a standout act in the independent rap scene while continuing to push the boundaries of lyrical hip-hop. The Squares have developed a dedicated fan base all over the world and have successfully toured across the US and Canada for many years.
