Idioteque Performs The Bends

Idioteque performs Radiohead’s The Bends in its entirety — plus a whole lot more!  Radiohead’s classic 1995 album The Bends turned 30 last year, and we want to keep the celebration going! Besides (obviously) “Creep”, it was really The Bends that launched Radiohead into wider public awareness, with huge hits like “Just”, “Fake Plastic Trees”, “High And Dry”, and “Street Spirit”. The band emerged as a more highly developed oddball art rock superpower, tapping into feelings of disillusionment, anti-consumerism, and frustration, while weaving them into inviting and powerful song arrangements, at once beautiful and angsty. Now, as their fourth full-album tribute project, Idioteque will perform the entirety of The Bends, note-for-note, top-to-bottom — plus a whole opening set of favourites from the rest of Radiohead’s vast catalogue, B-sides, and rarities.
