The free event is expanding to two days, starting on the evening of Friday, July 14 with bands playing at a variety of Downtown Businesses. The event will continue all day Saturday, July 15 with multiple stages of music set up against the unique backdrop of Downtown, and offer family-friendly activities for all ages.
“This event is a great opportunity to experience the diverse culture downtown has to offer,” says Natasha Bell of Black Owned 905, one of Saturday’s stage programmers along with the Niagara Artists Centre and The Particle Sound.
This will be the first year for presenting partner Davids & DeLaat who are looking forward to bringing people together in the heart of the city.
The Davids & DeLaat team said “We are deeply committed to the Niagara community. We understand the importance of giving back and actively engage in various charitable initiatives and community events and this opportunity to host The Davids and DeLaat Downtown Block Party is one that allows us to create lasting relationships, not only with our clients but also with the community we proudly serve.”
