Fuelled by their love of post-punk and new wave, three-piece band Years of the Modern have found their voice by mixing in elements of synthpop and indie rock to craft a unique sound of their own.

The dark and moody noise generated by Neon Cowboy rolls in like an alternative rock thunderstorm. Their low tunings and primitive percussion growl in contrast to the emotionally charged vocal harmonies and wailing delayed guitars. This band channels the frequency of the human condition.

Low Animal is simply too heavy to be supported by the foundation laid by other blues-rock two-pieces. Cracks in this foundation are starting to form, and pieces are splintering off, landing in territory varying from post-rock to hardcore and outlaw country. Burrowing into your soul, their memorable hooks will pop up in your mind long after the show is over. They are not a band that is easily forgotten.

Heather Valley & The Current State are a Hamilton-based roots rock outfit consisting of Heather Valley, Matty Simpson, Justine Fischer, Benny Clement, and Melissa Marchese. 

Their sound is a lush melodic fusion of real life stories, Americana inspired poetry, and furious alternative rock licks.

HV’s first record, “Desert Message” was named the best album of 2019 by altcountry.nl. It was reviewed favourably in the Philadelphia Inquirer and charted top 5 in Canada, leading to a European tour in the Fall of 2021.

Their forthcoming album is being produced by Aaron Goldstein at Gold Standard Records in Toronto.

Sine Language is duo Mike DaSilva and Vanessa Lepp. Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Sine Language aims to craft catchy, genre-bending indie-pop that reaches and relates to listeners on a personal level, all the while remaining lighthearted in its simplicity. They’ve been together for 34 years, recorded seven albums, played over 6500 shows including 14 tours of Europe (2003-2019) and 6 tours of China (2013-2018). St. Catharines, Ontario native Jasmine Whyte —singer- songwriter and winner of the seventh season of The Shot — has been making waves in the Pop and R&B scene with the release of her debut single One Man Band and her follow-up single Secret. Whyte has performed for countless events on stages across Canada including The Rex, Winona Peach Festival, Canada Games, Canadian Music Week, Toronto’s Jazz Festival, Woman of Toronto Show-case and more. Music runs through her veins as the proud niece of Toronto-based jazz singer-songwriter Thyron Lee Whyte.

Jasmine has a mission statement in life of demonstrating love through real life actions and change; that she articulates through her original music.

The PK Hummingbird Steel Orchestra has been bringing Trinidadian soca to the Niagara Region for over 20 years! We provide free steel pan lessons to youths and their family, giving our members opportunities to learn music and perform within their community.

He also worked with Halifax producer Trobiz and recorded mixtapes with the groups N.E.P and Triple Threat. With his unique blend of hip hop and soul, AWOL has been putting his mark in the music game now for 20 plus years. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, AWOL was raised in a a little neighbour hood called Uniacke Square where he started his career along side 3 of his childhood friends where they formed a hip hop mega group called “North East Productions” N.E.P. For short. Together they recorded numerous amounts of songs that changed lives and paths for a lot of youth struggling and going through hardships in his city. Now as a solo artist, AWOL brings a unique smooth soulful melodic sound that varies from hip hop to RnB. He writes feel good music to feed the soul aswell as that real hip hop sound spanning his demographic to the masses. His style is comparable to none. His charismatic personality brings an intoxicating stage presence that fits which fits well with his innovative and refreshing sound.

Lorenzo Evans, professionally known as DJ Rennie, is an upcoming 25-year-old DJ/producer originally from St. Catharines, Ontario. His deep-rooted passion for music has been evident from a young age, and at 14, he started his musical journey by immersing himself in music production, refining his skills and showcasing his natural talent.
