Downtown St. Catharines hosted its fifth annual community Davids & DeLaat Downtown Block Party on July 26th welcoming over 10,000 visitors into the heart of the city for a full day of music, shopping, and family fun.
The day featured a main stage packed with a diverse line-up of local talent and an epic Latin Dance Party featuring Bachata dancing & DJ Locano, that kept everyone dancing in the streets.

In addition to a day full of music, visitors enjoyed the St. Catharines Farmer’s Market that stayed open later for the Downtown Block Party, dozens of vendors, Downtown food pop-ups, a Kids Zone, business promos & pop-ups, dance lessons, a comedy roast booth by Spotlight Comedy, skateboarding lessons & demos by Ride Skate Shop – all set against the beautiful urban landscape of Downtown St. Catharines.
A big thank you to Downtown Businesses who make events like these free and accessible to the community. Thank you to our business members and planning committees who volunteer their time and skills, and to the many volunteers who come out the day of to ensure the success of this event.
