Downtown Classic Car Show

  • Event Details and Map

The 14th Annual Downtown Classic Car Show will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.     Stroll down memory lane during the 14th Annual Downtown Classic Car Show while enjoying the many shops and restaurants that Downtown St. Catharines has to offer.  Over 400 fantastic classic and custom cars will be on display along St. Paul Street and other downtown streets, along with live entertainment and family friendly activities.  Free admission, free registration.  Keep up to date with Downtown Classic Car Show news on our Facebook page here.

Some things to keep in mind while attending our Downtown Classic Car Show:

Park for free at City-owned garages and parking lots downtown. We recommend parking in the Ontario Street parking garage or the Garden Park/Carlisle Street parking garage.  For more information on parking, visit the City of St. Catharines’ website. Please be aware that street parking is not available on the streets closed for the car show, unless you are a classic car exhibitor.

Walk, don’t ride, bikes and skateboards through the car show.

Take care when getting close to the classic cars. Belts, buckles and purses can cause damage to the finish on these vintage vehicles.

Street closures for the car show:  St. Paul Street from Ontario Street to Carlisle Street, then St. Paul Street from Carlisle Street to Court Street.  Also, William Street (from St. Paul to the entry of the parking garage), Queen Street (from St. Paul to King) and James Street (from St. Paul to King) close at 7 am and reopen at 5 pm.  The Downtown Classic Car Show is proudly presented by the St. Catharines Downtown Association (phone 905-685-8424, email scda@mydowntown.ca

  • Info For Custom and Classic Car Exhibitors

The 14th Annual Downtown Classic Car Show will take place in Downtown St. Catharines on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

No registration, admission or parking fees. No advance registration.  Pre-1986 vehicles preferred.  Special giveaways on arrival for the first 300 cars, including a chance to win a prize in our door prize raffle.

Please arrive between 7:00am and 9:00am for best parking placement within the show area.  Please do not arrive earlier than 7:00am to park your custom or classic vehicle, or YOU WILL RISK HAVING YOUR VEHICLE TOWED.  Volunteers from the Niagara Corvette Club will assist exhibitors with parking and placement of their cars starting at 7:00am.  There are two points of entry:  St. Paul Street at Ontario Street / Westchester Cres., and St. Paul Street at Carlisle Street.  We will have volunteers posted at each point of entry, handing out goodie bags to each exhibitor. You will NOT receive a goodie bag if you arrive earlier than 7:00am.

If you would like to park near or with your friends, please all arrive together as it is extremely difficult to save spots.  Once parked, we encourage you to stay through the afternoon while the thousands of visitors enjoy strolling the downtown streets viewing the vintage and custom cars on display.
